Want to know how to get rid of cellulite thighs? Try these 5 exercises today!
Cellulite for women is like male-pattern balding in men. Although some men do suffer from cellulite this problem is more common in women. Cellulite is fat that is pushing through connective tissue which cause unsightly ridges on the surface of the skin. Cellulite can be lost through many different methods such as exercise, weights in combination with a healthy diet.
Here are 5 exercises to get you started in the right direction in fighting cellulite …
1. Walking, running, swimming, cycling …..
As long as you’re expending more calories than you’re taking in, you’ll begin burning into your fat deposits. Since these activities all burn calories, they can reduce your overall body fat, which makes cellulite harder to notice. Anything you would normally do for exercise, can help in the overall battle to burn calories and blast cellulite.
2. Stair climbing.
Stair climbing strengthens your lungs and heart. Stronger lungs allow you to take in more oxygen. A stronger heart allows you to rapidly deliver the oxygen-enriched blood to your muscle fibers. As a result, you’ll feel better, and everyday tasks such as walking to your car won’t be so tiring. A more efficient body has greater immunity, so you may not get colds as often, and your likelihood for developing chronic health problems such as Type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure will be significantly diminished.
Every time you climb a flight of stairs, your body releases chemical endorphins, a type of neurotransmitter, making you feel happy and calm. Over time, your ability to focus and concentrate will improve, and you will feel less stressed out. Your self-esteem and self-confidence will improve as you successfully meet your fitness goals, become more toned and muscular, and are less distracted by physical fatigue.
Set a goal, such as five minutes of stair climbing twice per day, and progress slowly, increasing in one-minute increments each time you climb the stairs. Work toward a 30-minute-daily goal, moving faster as your body gets used to the workout. Listen to your body to avoid injury. Push beyond physical discomfort, but stop exercising if you experience any sharp pains.
Stair climbing has the added benefit of really working all the muscle areas that tend to get hit with the greatest amounts of cellulite.
3. Passive Single Leg Hip Raises.
START: Lie faceup on the floor with your left knee bent. Bring your right knee toward your chest and hold it there with your hands as you perform the exercise.
MOVEMENT: Push your hips upward, keeping your right knee toward your chest. Your body should form a straight line from your shoulders to your knees. You can raise your left toes to make sure you are pushing from your heel. Pause, then slowly lower your body back to the starting position. Complete 10 – 15 repetitions with your left leg, then switch legs and do the same number with your right leg.
4. Glute Kickbacks
- Tighten and maintain your abdominals throughout this exercise
- Gently slide your right foot back, contracting your glutes, and preventing your hips from twisting
- When your knee is fully straight, lift your foot off the ground, make sure your toes are pointed towards the ground, and do not life your ankle past you hips
- Hold for 5 secs making sure you give your glutes a tight squeeze
- Once you have held this position for 5 secs, bring your knee back under your hip
- Repeat the same movement with your other leg
- Do this exercise for 1 minute and then take a 30 sec break.
- Do 3-4 reps.
Stand comfortably, with your feet about a foot apart.
Slowly bend your knees and lower your body until your thighs are parallel to the floor.
Gradually stand back up, squeezing your glutes and the backs of your thighs as you rise.
If performed consistently, these exercises will build muscle in your thighs and butt, which will help burn fat. And less fat equals less noticeable cellulite. As with the other exercises, start with around 10 repetitions and work your way up to more.
If you don’t have all the time in the world to be doing these exercises or getting on a treadmill then another way to get rid of cellulite thighs is by using a topical anti-cellulite cream.
A topical formula can make a dramatic difference in the appearance of unwanted dimples on the surface of the skin. However, while there are solutions capable of such results, not all topical products will yield visible improvements in the look of dimples.
The best creams can be easily distinguished from ones of a lower quality; all it takes is a small amount of research and the information necessary to make an informed decision.
Some of the best products are those that have been clinically tested and clinically proven to work in reducing the look of skin affected by lumps. When a product undergoes clinical testing it is being rigorously evaluated for its efficacy to see if it truly works as it is claimed to. Generally, products that have been clinically proven are more likely to provide the results you want to see, as evidenced by the facts and data gathered during clinical testing.
Aside from the importance of clinical testing, consumers should use products that are formulated with natural ingredients that help to diminish the look of dimples. Options that contain natural ingredients are best, examining the ingredient lists on product labels is always a smart idea. Not only is it important to know if the product contains natural ingredients, but it is also crucial to determine if the product has any known side effects.
Time is a precious commodity, and with the use of clinically tested creams, such as Procellix your valuable time can be saved. Rather than taking the time to schedule various appointments or undergo a surgical procedure that takes hours and requires time to recuperate, you can apply a cream twice daily and see results in a timely manner. Not only do creams take practically no time to apply, but some of the best products sold today can show results in a matter of weeks.
